A warm sent off was given to Rev. Fr. Mathaikunju Chathanattukudi the former Vicar of Al Ain St.George Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Simhasana Cathedral  in a function organized on 19 October 2012 at the church.  His Grace Alias Mor Athanasios inagurate the meeting, New Vicar Rev.Fr. Daniel M.J Chennithala (Noble achen), Rev.Fr. Raju P. George (Al Ain Marthoma Church Vicar),  Secretary Mr.Joseph Varghese, Trustee Mr. Varghese Pynadath Varghese, Sunday School Head Master Mr. James Varghese, Vanitha Samajam Secretary Mrs.Mercy Varghese, Youth Association Secretary Abin Abraham spoke on this occasion. Fr. Mathaikunju Chathanattukudi served as vicar of St.George Al Ain from 2010 – 2012.
