Mizoram: The Student Christian Movement in North East India celebrated its Platinum Jubilee on October 16 in Mizoram. A thanks giving service was organized at the Aizawl Theological College, Mizoram to celebrate both the 75 years of SCM life and witness in North East India and the 100 years of SCM in India. Mor Coorilos Geevarghese, Chairperson of SCM India delivered the keynote address on the theme “Witnessing to Christ in a Pluralistic Context”. Rev. Raj Bharat Patta, General Secretary of SCMI and Dr. Anandan, Hon. Treasurer of SCMI also participated in the celebrations. About 60 senior friends and students from various parts of the North East attended the function.
