A one day retreat for the Sunday School Teachers of Mumbai Diocese was held at St. Ignatius Jacobite Syrian Church, Marol, on Friday, 26th October 2012. Rev. Jobi Koruth, Vicar of St. Peter’s Mar Thoma Church, Goregaon and Director of Sunday Schools of Mumbai Diocese of the Mar Thoma Church was the speaker. Rev. Achen took a powerful class on the topic : ‘A new Cartography for our mission’ in the first session. The topic for the second session was ‘How to be an effective Sunday School teacher’. Post lunch, in the business session a variety of topics related to Mumbai Diocese Sunday Schools were discussed. Rev. Fr. Bobby George, Director of Sunday School, Mumbai Diocese presided. Rev. Fr. Daniel Karavallil, Vicar of St. Ignatius Church, Marol welcomed the teachers. Diocesan Sunday School Secretary Mr. T.V. Cherian proposed the vote of thanks. A good number of Sunday School Teachers from different parishes of Mumbai attended.
