The Patriarchal Day was celebrated with fervor in St.Mary’s Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church, Muscat on Sunday,the 21st February, 2010. After Evening prayers at the St.Mary’s Chapel, Rev.Fr.Alias Ipe, Vicar of the St.Mary’s Church celebrated Holy Qurbana. Special prayers were held for  Moran Mor Ignatius Zakka I , the Prince Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, H.B. Aboon Mor Baselios Thomas I, the regional Head, and all Prelates of the Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church during the Holy Qurbana followed by Patriarchal flag hoisting. Sweets were distributed to all present.
