Mor Gregorios Joseph, Mor Ivanios Mathews, Mor Aphrem Mathews and Mor Coorilos Geevarghese from Kerala along with Bar Eatho Breero Dr. Babu Paul IAS had the rare privilege of celebrating the New Year day 2011 with the Supreme  Head of the Universal Syrian Orthodox Church, Moran Mor Iganatius Zakka I Iwas at the Patriarchal Aramana in Damascus. His Holiness had dinner with bishops, clergy and relatives on the New Year’s Eve and cut the New Year Cake. His Holiness also enjoyed the singing of Syriac and Malayalam songs by bishops, clergy, nuns and lay people. New Year gifts were also distributed. For every one who attended the celebrations, it was the most blessed experience to end the year 2010 and to begin the new year 2011 in the Holy presence and with Apostolic blessings of His Holiness, the Patriarch of Antioch and all the East.
