Metropolitan Mor Eusthathios Matta- Rohum and Metropolitan Mor Coorilos Geevarghese greeted the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and conveyed to the Ecumenical Patriarch the Apostolic regards of His Holiness Moran Mor Ignatius Zakka 1st Iwas, the Patriarch of Antioch and All the East. The Ecumenical Patriarch came to Crete to address the Central Committee of the World Council of Churches. Metropolitan Mor Eusthathios Matt- Rohum represents the Syrian Orthodox Church on the WCC Central Commitee and and Mor Coorilos represented the CWME as it’s Moderator.
