Accra: The Commission on World Mission and Evangelism of the World Council of Churches celebrated the 50th anniversary of the historic integration of the International Missionary Council with the WCC in New Delhi, 1961 with a public seminar and a thanks giving service at the Trinity Theological Seminary, Ghana. Rev. Dr. Mercy Amba Oduyoye, former Deputy General Secretary of WCC delivered the sermon and Mor Coorilos Geevarghese Metropolitan, Moderator of CWME presided over the service. Rev. Dr. J.O.Y. Mante, the President of the Seminary welcomed the gathering and Dr. Jooseop Kuem, the Director of WCC team on Mission and Evangelism proposed Vote of Thanks.
