Bossey: Mor Coorilos Geevarghese, Metropolitan of Niranam diocese and patriarchal Vicar of U.K chaired the planning meeting on Diakonia organised by the World Council of Churches. The meeting was held at the Ecumenical Institute at Bossey, Geneva from 6-9 april, 2011. The planning meeting was attended by ten selected theologians and church leaders from different parts of the world. The meeting was to plan for a major conference on Diakonia in June 2012. Each participant shared reflections on the diakonal ministry of the Church from their own contextual persectives. The meeting came up with concrete plans for the Conference to be held in June next year in Colombo, Srilanka.
