St. George Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church, Melbourne celebrated its fourth St. George feast (valiyaperunnal) on 2nd May 2010 at St. Aphrem Syrian Orthodox Church, 2-4, Joffre Street, Reservoir, VIC – 3000. The Holy Qurbono was celebrated by Fr. George Vayaliparambil who was the previous vicar of St. Mary’s Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church, Sydney who was assisted by the vicar Fr. Boby Thomas.

 

Followed by the Holy Qurbono, Procession,. Nercha and the Auction; St.George Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church bid a honourable farewell to Fr. George Vayaliparambil for his whole hearted service to the Diocese of Australia and New Zealand for two years on behalf of the Diocese Council.
