Vienna: The Indian Catholic Community(ICC) of Vienna organized a carol competition at Maria Lourdes Church Meidling on Sunday the 11th December 2011. The carol team from St. Mary’s Syrian  Orthodox Church won the first prize for both the Senior and junior level competitions from out of the 14 teams that had participated.  The Christmas message was delivered by Rev. Aji George, Asst. Vicar, St. Mary’s Syrian Church followed by an Ecumenical Prayer lead by Rev. Dr. Thomas Thandappilly, Chaplain, ICC Vienna.The Christmas spirit was truly in the air and people from different congregations celebrated advent night in a united and devine manner.
