Bangalore: Fr. Dr. Jerry Kurian, Professor of Communications at the United Theological College, Bangalore and former Professor at the MSOT Seminary, Mulanthuruthy made a theological  presentation on Public Witness at the 27th General Assembly of the National Council of Churches in India, held at St. John’s Medical College, Bangalore from 25-28 April 2012. The delegation of the Jacobite Syrian Church was led by Mor Coorilos Geevarghese. Very Rev. Dr. Kuriakose Moolayil Corepiscopa,  Fr. Jerry Kurian, Fr. Kuriakose Punnachalil, Fr. Jacob Joseph, Mrs. Molly George,Ms. Binu Mathew and others were part of the 18 member delegation of the Jacobite Church. V. Rev. Dr. Kuriakose Moolayil Corepiscopa and Ms. Binu Mathew were elected to the Executive Committee of the NCCI for the next four years.
