Bangalore: A National Level Church Leaders consultation on “Christian Witness in a Multi-Religious World: Recommendations for Conduct” has begun at the Ecumenical Christian Centre, Whitefield, Bangalore. The consultation which is being organized by the NCCI, BTESSC and EFI (Evangelical Fellowship of India) will conclude on March 2nd. The main aim of the consultation is to discuss the Code of Conduct document prepared by the WCC, WEA (World Evangelical alliance) and the Pontifical Council for Inter-religious Dialogue together. Mor Coorilos Geevarghese, Metropolitan of Niranam Diocese who has been involved in the drafting of this document on behalf of the WCC, made a presentation today. About 40 theologians and church leaders are participating in this three day Consultation in Bangalore.
