A condolence meeting was held at the Honnavar Mission headquarters in Honnavar on March 11th in remembrance of Late Lamented Mor Polycarpose Geevarghese Metropolitan who served the mission as its Manager from 1962 to 1978 and then as director from 1990 until his demise on March 6th 2011. HG Mor Antonious Yaqub Metropolitan – Auxillary Bishop of Honnavar Mission presided over. The governing body members of Honnavar Mission and the staff of the various Educational Institutions functioning under the Mission in and around Honnavar participated. His Grace Mor Antonious, V Rev C M George Cor – Episcopa – Manager of Honnavar Mission, Rev. Fr. Skariah Joseph, Rev. Fr. John Abraham, Shri. S V Naik – Ex MLA, Shri M N Mestha – retd. Headmaster, Smt. Subbalakshmi Bhat, Shri. S T Naik, Shri. G H Naik & Smt. Devi Naik spoke on the occasion and offered their condolences.

 

A Holy Qurbana was celebrated on March 12th, Saturday at St. Antony’s Jacobite Syrian Church, Honnavar in remembrance of the departed Spiritual father.
