This year the Passion Week Services and Convention at St. Mary’s Jacobite Syrian Soonoro Church – Sharjah, UAE will God willing be lead by our Diocesan Metropolitan H.G. Mathews Mor Aphrem Thirumeni and assisting him the Vicar of our Church, Rev. Fr. Joshi Mathew and Rev. Fr. Bobby Varghese – Vicar, Mor Ignatius Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Cathedral – Dubai, UAE as a guest speaker on the second day of the Convention.

Bishop Mor Eusebios arrived in Kuwait to lead this year’s Holy Week Services at Kuwait St. George Universal Syrian Orthodox Reesh Church.  His Grace was received at the Kuwait International Airport by the Parish Vicar Rev. Father Sajan John and a number of faithful from the church.

Mor Julius Kuriakose – Senior Metropolitan of the Simhasana (Patriarchal) Churches / Institutions in India and Former Secretary to His Holiness Patriarch, passed away. He was 78. The mortal remains of the Late Metropolitan is presently kept in Mor Ignatius Dayaro, Manjanikkara. The funeral ceremony will be held at Manjanikkara Dayaro on April 11, Monday.
