15th Harvest Festival of St. George Universal Syrian Orthodox Reesh Church (Valiyapally), Kuwait, organised by Mar Baseliose Social and Cultural Association (MBSCA), was celebrated at Integrated Indian School, Abbassiya on Friday, Oct 28th  2011 with a full-day multifaceted entertainment programme.

Dn. Dr. Paul Samuel has been elected to the Board of Directors , YMCA Thiruvananthapuram. YMCA Thiruvananthapuram was the second YMCA started in India in 1873. Jacobite Church is being represented in the YMCA Thiruvananthapuram branch after a gap of many years.

His Grace Mor Osthatheos was accorded a very warm welcome at Kuwait International Airport on Tuesday, October  18, 2011, by the Vicars of St. George Universal Syrian Orthodox Reesh Church (Valiya Pally) Rev. Fr. Sajan T. John and St. Mary’s Jacobite Syrian Church,  Rev. Fr. Biju Kavatt, Managing Committee members and a number of faithful from both the parishes.

38th Parish Day of St. George Universal Syrian Orthodox Reesh Church was celebrated at National Evangelical Church of Kuwait (NECK) on Friday, 7th Oct..  Rev. Fr. Sajan T. John, the Parish Vicar, presided over the public meeting. The program was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Roy George of Kattachira Global Marian Pilgrim Center.
