GENEVA: Archbishop Mor Severios Jamil Hawa, Archbishop of Baghdad & Basra, Archbishop Mor Eusthatios Matta Rohum of Jazirah & Euphrates, the Syriac Orthodox Church’s official representative at the WCC Central Committee and Dr. Mor Coorilos Geevarghese, Moderator of CWME of WCC visited the Rev. Dr. Olav Fykse Tveit, the General Secretary of the World Council of Churches. The bishops were received by the General Secretary at his office in Geneva. Archbishop Amba Bishoy of the Coptic Orthodox Church also joined the delegation. The delegation discussed various things pertaining to the contributions of the Syrian Orthodox Church to the ecumenical movement.
