Jamaica: Dr. Geevarghese Mor Coorilos, Metropolitan of Niranam diocese and Patriarchal Vicar of U.K represented the Syrian Orthodox Church at the International Ecumenical Peace Convocation, held in Kingston, Jamaica from 15-24, 2011. Mor Coorilos made a presentation on “Eco-Justice” at the Convocation and also was a Bible Study leader. The IEPC was the culmination of WCC’s Decade to overcome Violence (DOV).
