The First Holy Synod of the Universal Syriac Orthdoox Church presided by the new Patriarch Ignatius Aphrem II was held at the monastery of Saint Ephrem Syrian bemarh sednaya on 30th May 2014.
Presided by His Holiness Prince Patriarch Moran Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, His Beatitude Catholics Aboon Mor Baselious Thomas I and all the Metropolitan’s of the Holy Syriac Orthodox Church of Antioch were present for the session.
