His Holiness Patriarch gave a talk at the International Conference organized by Sant'Egidio Community in Bari – Italy.

His Holiness Patriarch Moran Mor Ignatius Aphrem II gave a talk at the “Christians in the Middle East: What Future?” International Conference organized by Sant’Egidio Community in Bari – Italy.  His Holiness gave an overview of the history of the Christian presence in the Middle East, especially during the Muslim rule.  His Holiness also gave an account of the current situation and offered some insights into the possible solutions that can help Christians remain in their homeland.
