Oklahoma: An emotional sent off was given to Rev. Fr. Saju George who was serving as the Vicar of St. George Syriac Orthodox Church, Bethany, Oklahoma, USA from January, 2008 to October, 2012 at the Church on Sunday, the 28th of October 2012. On this special occasion Dn. Ritchie Varghese, Dn. Abraham Varghese, Mr. Jobin Mathai(Secretary), Mr. Abraham Kuriakose(Board of Trustees), Mr. C. M. Varghese(St. Paul’s Fellowship), Mr. Reji Varghese(Sunday School), Mrs. Thankamma Kuriakose(St. Mary’s Women’s League), and members from youth association (MGSOSA) praised Achen’s accomplishments during the last 5 years and wished him well. Fr. Saju George thanked all members for their sincere support and co-operation during his term. Mr. Joby Joseph (Treasurer) presented a “Thank You” plaque to Fr. Saju George with the Board of Trustees. Fr. Saju George will be residing in Kothamangalam, Kerala, India. Rev. Fr. Thomas Kurian is appointed as the new vicar of the Church.
